Welcome to SugaryMe, a mobile app that helps you log your blood glucose data, create custom reminders, set health targets, and motivate you to meet them. The app also lets you see statistics of your historic data and store essential health data. The app is designed for the diabetic community and their doctors in South Africa. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its content, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, unless you have our written permission.

Registration and Account

To use some features of the app, you may need to register and create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when registering and for keeping your account secure. You agree not to share your account credentials with anyone else and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by your failure to protect your account.

Payment and Subscription

The app is free to use, but some features are restricted behind payment gateways and require a subscription. You can choose from different subscription plans that offer different levels of access to the app's features. The subscription fees are charged on a monthly basis through debit orders that are set up using a third party company called Yoco. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app or by contacting us at support@sugaryme.com. However, no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the subscription period.

Content and Data

You own all the content and data that you enter or upload to the app, such as your blood glucose readings, health targets, reminders, and personal information. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, back up, and display your content and data for the purposes of providing and improving the app's services. You also grant us the right to aggregate and anonymize your content and data for research and analysis purposes.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of your content and data. You agree not to enter or upload any content or data that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, or infringes on any intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content or data that violates these terms or our policies at our sole discretion.
